Saira Khan's Biography

It is now 6 years since Saira Khan captivated the audience on the very first series of the Apprentice. Her no nonsense style made her a favourite of Lord Sugar who employed her for 6 months and the two remain in touch. Since then she has gone on to set up her own business (Miamoo) built a career as a BBC TV presenter. She currently hosts the BBC programme Trade Your Way but has also hosted and presented on numerous BBC programmes including Adopting Abroad (2011) Around the World for Comic Relief (2009) Saira Khan’s Pakistan Adventure (2008), the Money Programme, Watchdog and Question Time.

In spite of great media success Saira is at her core a businesswoman. In 2007 she set up Miamoo a natural skin care range for babies. In this challenging sector she has managed to build a joint venture that has lead to the brand being stocked by Boots.

Much of Miamoo’s business success has come from the support of leading London Online Marketing agency Push where Saira holds a position as non-executive director. She takes a keen interest in social media and has 7,000 followers.
