The Federation of Small Businesses is the UK's leading business organisation representing the interests of the self-employed and those who run their own businesses. The FSB is a proud sponsor of the show and will again run its own 'village' inside the show featuring its own exhibitors and speakers.

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is the UK’s leading business organisation promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. Formed in 1974, it has over 200,000 members across 33 regions and 194 branches.

The FSB lobbying arm — led by the Westminster Parliamentary office — applies pressure on MPs, Government and Whitehall and puts the FSB viewpoint over to the media. The FSB also has Press and Parliamentary Offices in Glasgow, Cardiff and Belfast to lobby the devolved administrations. Development Managers work in the UK regions to further FSB influence at a local level.

FSB Member Services is committed to delivering a wide range of high quality, good value business services to its members. These include a range of financial and business support products, such as free business banking and 24 hour access to a dedicated legal helpline.

The FSB is a proud sponsor of the Business Start Up Show and will again run its own ‘FSB Village’. This will feature both exhibitors and speakers. In addition, back-to-back workshops will be held within the FSB Village, which will include sessions from Small Business Minister Mark Prisk MP, Minister for Sustainable Development, Lord Turner and Retail Guru, Clare Rayner.
